i purchased the lights in 2021 & needed replacement globes to replace the globes that filled with water / condensation.

I was aiming to install on my verandah - with the panel tucked away up high both to get sun and be out of sight. I didn't realise that you just leave the lights on - and they auto turn on at dusk and off at sunrise everyday!

After purchasing the 150m very warm (2200K) white fairy lights from Festoon House to add some atmosphere to my property, I'm thoroughly impressed with both the quality and performance.
These aren't your average hardware store lights - they're genuinely commercial grade. The main power cable is exceptionally thick, and each light strand features double wiring, demonstrating superior construction throughout.
The 2200K very warm white provides exactly the cozy, atmospheric glow I was hoping for. My trees look absolutely fantastic lit up at night, creating the perfect ambiance.
One thing to note - properly installing these in trees requires serious consideration. A standard ladder won't suffice for height or stability if you're wrapping branches. I ended up hiring a trailer-mounted boom lift for the weekend, which made the installation both higher and significantly safer.
The 150m length is generous - after dressing two large trees in my front yard, I still had enough to illuminate my entire front hedge and two smaller trees!
Pro tip: I connected the LED driver to a smart power outlet, allowing remote on/off control via my phone plus automated timing.
Overall, these lights have transformed my property's nighttime appearance. The quality justifies the price, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase from Festoon House.
We turned a dead corner of our backyard into a sitting area and the festoon lights are the perfect finishing touch. The 2W S14 globes are very stylish, and the dimmer lets us set different moods as appropriate. I installed a support wire and hung the lights in just a couple of hours. Very impressed with the quality of the fittings and the service from Festoon House.
Festoons were easy to install and looked wonderful for our club's centenary celebrations. No need to turn on other lights, plenty of warm glow from the festoon lights - vey happy with the 50cm spacing. Brought a fantastic ambience to our function room and has transformed the space. Lots of wows as people walked in!
The Festoon Lights (and shatterproof bulbs) look to be really good quality & durable. The S14 2W bulbs give enough light to see quite clearly at night, while still remaining soft & welcoming (even without dimming). I’m very happy I finally took the plunge & added outdoor lighting to my pergola. And the service & delivery was so fast!
We purchased the 10 light strand with 3x edison multi pack droppers with a dimmer option for our outdoor patio-they are absolutely stunning the customer service was great, shipping was fast - Thank you team - you’ve definitely scored a repeat customer!
Brilliant, and I bought them as replacements plus a few spare. The led's are wonderful and I will be replacing all the others with them.
Can't give a long term perspective yet, but they were easy to set up and it was good to have a white option rather than just black.
so far so good! Just put up my new fairy lights and the string of festoon lights. After many years of having to buy new every year I am excited to have found the Festoon House lights. The fittings are quality just by looking at them. The solar panel also looks great, a lot better. Only time will now tell. Have already recommended to friends.

Honestly this should be included in the price of the festoon lights. It's overpriced for what it is, but makes such a difference. Our lights are on an apartment balcony and are just way too bright at full strength. We usually have them around 30% for a nice vibe, which would be impossible without this dimmer.
Honestly these festoon lights are the best quality you can buy. They seem super durable for full outdoor exposure they get on our apartment balcony.
More than happy to pay the bit extra to know they are totally safe outside and are going to last.
Also make sure you get the remote dimmer. It's a bit annoying this costs more, but honestly it's a bit useless without it. Particularly on a small space they are just way too bright at full brightness, we normally run them about 30%.
Easy to install and look great along the pool fence line.. Exactly what we wanted with just the right amount of light.
